The way Microsoft established the dominance of windows was by giving it to schools for free/low cost. Google is now doing the same thing. Lead time on this could be 5-10 years down the line we'll see chrome OS being the dominant platform over Microsoft and Apple.
I don't really think it's that. At least not directly. If anything it's "HTML and CSS are easy, so let's spend all the time learning React." The sad thing is if you master HTML and CSS, you can outperform React in less lines of code, and a lot of people miss that lesson.
Last year we tried our first jam. The
@gamemakerstk jam. Failed big time. This year we finished! But uploaded bad HTML & DMG builds. Working .exe was ready 5 mins after grace period. Great fun but tripped at finish line.

I thought this was well known but it might not be.
If you are using VS Code you can press CTRL + Shift + L and highlight text. It will then find every copy of that word and highlight it as well.
You can now edit multiple lines at the same time
